![]() ![]() To change the pitch or key of a track, go to Effect Change Pitch You can change the key via percent, frequency, the number of half-steps, or enter the original and target keys using the letter notes. This comes in handy when you need to stretch out a vocal track to fit over some an instrumental part. You can also tweak the knob to for finer adjustment. Right click on the time knob and set the desired length. This way you can slow it down and record it as a lossless file (wav/mp3) then slow it down even further through stretching in your DAW.Hope this helps mate. Sometimes its better keeping the stretched sample at the lower pitch so the distortion isnt so apparent.Alternatively you can find the sample on record and sample from a TT while slowing down the pitch control. Theres a few ways you can go about this.Using a file with a higher bit rate will allow it to be stretched further without distorting as much so try find a wav or flac version of the file you want to sample as opposed to an mp3.If you stretch a sample and then change the pitch back to the original then the sample can sound more distorted/tinny.
